WorkTurn is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the WorkTurn mobile application (the “App”).

1. Information We Collect

WorkTurn is designed with an offline-first and privacy-by-design approach.

We do not collect, transmit, or sell personal data.

Specifically, WorkTurn does not collect:

Personal identifiers (name, email address, phone number, address, etc.)
Account information (no account or login is required)
Usage analytics or tracking data
Location data
Advertising identifiers

All data you enter into the App (shift schedules, rotations, calendar entries, reminders, statistics, notes) is stored locally on your device only.

2. How Your Data Is Used

Any data you create in WorkTurn is used solely to provide the App’s core functionality, including:

Creating and managing shift calendars (14/14, 7/7, 4-2-4-4, custom rotations)
Displaying schedules in Month, Week, and Year views
Generating work-life statistics (work days, night shifts, time off)
Creating reminders for upcoming shifts
Exporting calendars and reports as PDF files
Backing up or transferring data only when you explicitly choose to export it

WorkTurn does not access your data for any other purpose.

We do not share your data with third parties.

WorkTurn:

Does not use third-party analytics SDKs
Does not display ads
Does not use advertising or tracking frameworks
Does not upload data to cloud servers

Your data never leaves your device unless you manually export or share it (for example, sharing a PDF calendar with family).

4. Permissions

WorkTurn may request limited system permissions strictly to support core features:

Calendar / Notifications – to deliver shift reminders
File Storage – to export PDF calendars or backup files

These permissions are used only on-device and are never used to collect or transmit personal data.

5. Offline-First Design

WorkTurn works fully offline:

No internet connection is required
No background network activity occurs

This ensures reliability for professionals working in remote or secure environments such as aviation, maritime, mining, healthcare, and emergency services.

6. Data Backup & Transfer

WorkTurn allows you to export your data for backup or transfer purposes.

Backups are created only when you initiate them
Exported files remain under your control
We do not have access to exported data

7. Children’s Privacy

WorkTurn is not intended for children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App Store listing or within the App.

Continued use of WorkTurn after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
