PRIVACY POLICY

1. Introduction

Photo Collage (“the App”, “we”, “our”) is a photo collage and carousel creator for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

The App does not require an account and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone.

3. Photos and On-Device Processing

• Photos you add to a collage are processed entirely on your device. Subject-lift cutouts, filters, and adjustments are performed locally using Apple frameworks.
• We do not upload your photos, and no photo ever leaves your device except when you choose to save or share a finished collage.
• We cannot access, view, or retrieve your photos.

4. Local Storage

• Your collages, layouts, and editing state are stored locally on your device.
• The original photos you import are stored locally so the App can render and re-render your collages; these files are excluded from iCloud and device backups to avoid growing them unnecessarily. If you delete a photo, a collage, or the App itself, those files are removed from your device.
• On a new device or after a restore, imported photos are not restored from backup — you can re-add them from your photo library.

5. Photo Library Access

The App requests add-only access to your photo library, and only when you first choose to Save to Photos or Share an export. This permission is used solely to write the finished collage into your library; the App never reads or modifies your existing photos. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings.

6. Diagnostics

The App uses Apple’s MetricKit framework to receive aggregated, device-level diagnostic data (such as crash and hang counts). MetricKit data is delivered to us by Apple only with your consent, is not linked to your identity, and is used solely to improve stability. No third-party analytics are involved.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App collects no personal data, there is nothing to collect from children.

8. Security

Because all data remains on your device and the App has no network connections that carry your content, your photos and collages are protected by your device’s built-in security. The App applies standard iOS data protection to its locally stored content.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated “Effective date” above. Material changes will be highlighted in the App’s About section.
