This privacy policy applies to the Network Analyzer app for iPhone and iPad (the "App"). The App is a network diagnostics utility with no account system.

Data collection

The App collects no personal data, uses no analytics, displays no ads, and contains no third-party tracking. All network analysis runs on your device.

Local storage

Scan history and favorite hosts are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. They are never transmitted anywhere. You can clear them at any time from the History screen in the App.

Permissions

Local Network — used to discover and analyze devices, services, and hosts on your local network. Scan results remain on your device.
Location (When In Use) — used solely to read the name (SSID) of the Wi-Fi network you are connected to. Your location is never stored, tracked, or transmitted. The App works without this permission; the SSID simply shows "Unavailable".

Network services

Two tools contact third-party endpoints, and only when you run them:

Speed Test — uses Cloudflare's public speed-test endpoint (speed.cloudflare.com).
Public IP — uses the ipify service (api.ipify.org) to read your public address, plus standard DNS lookups.

No other tool makes network requests outside your local network.

Children's privacy

The App does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
